The Opa Taylor hut is located near Taylor Peak and is dedicated to Alfred “Opa” Braun. This eight person hut was built in 2012 by Al Beyer Designs and Rutgers Construction.

This hut is part of the Alfred Braun Hut System, a community supported 501c3 non-profit which independently owns and operates seven huts: Barnard, Goodwin Greene, Markley, Lindley, Tagert, Green Wilson, and Opa Taylor.
